Body: 5-8, 160-pounds. Smaller build with proportional limbs. Room for added mass and physicality.
Hit: RHH. Open to start, small leg lift and weight shift forward. Body has some rhythm and hands slot into launch position nicely. Slightly upward barrel path through the zone creates some loft.
Power: Gap to gap power currently. Peak exit velocity of 86.5 and bat speed of 68 mph. Power will come with added mass and energy production.
Arm: RH. Short and clean arm action. Fluid motion that has the potential to play anywhere in the IF. Peaked at 71 mph across the diamond.
Defense: Relaxed approach, fielded balls and made plays look easy. Footwork was above average and put him in a position to be able to make plays. Quality defender.
Delivery: Lower tempo, under control delivery. Repeated well. Gets into lower half well and keeps body on same plane of rotation. Glove side aids in acceleration of rotating torso. Efficient unload into front hip. Clean movement.
Arm Action: RH. Medium length arm action. Gets up and on time at foot strike. Accelerates through and works downhill. Repeats arm action well.
FB: 75-77; Peak of 20" vertical break has potential for swing and miss up in the zone. Paired with release height of 5' could aid in deception of rising ball. Average horizontal break 11" and spin 1851rpm.
SL: 66-67; More cutter profile with 8" ride and minimal (3'0 of glove side movement. Plays well off the FB when down in the zone.
CH: 70-72; Similar movement to FB which can be room for improvement. Relying mainly on velocity difference to miss bats. Look to kill vertical break for separation from FB.
