In a Scout Ball game where he faced five hitters, Ekstrom showed his customary fast, loose arm action despite flashing spotty command of the fastball at times. Touched 89 mph while living comfortably at 85-86 mph and dipping down to 82 mph. Changeup showed significant improvement from last viewing with some late diving action to the back foot of righties. Starting from the same tunnel as the fastball the pitch caused fits for hitters and was used as a put away pitch for his two strikeouts. Slider is coming and was up to 71 mph. There's a hump in the pitch which caused timing issues. Faced five batters and finished: K(looking), BB, K, BB, F8.
