Schramm, a standout football player who holds several offers in that sport, took the mound in a starting role in this game. His delivery is clean and repeatable using his thick lower half to generate the power. Schramm uses a high ¾ delivery on all pitches. Because his team jumped out to such a large lead he used his fastball almost exclusively, although he did mix in a few sliders. Schramm pounded the zone with his fastball that shows late life and arm-side run. The pitch worked 88-89 mph and touched 90 mph. Later in his outing the velocity worked 86-87 mph from the stretch where he was 1.49-1.60 to the plate. His slider is a sharp and falls off the table as it enters the hitting zone at 77-79 mph. He threw the pitch three times and each resulted in a swing-and-miss from the hitter.
