Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 5-foot-11, 185-pounds. Wide upper body, stream-lined proportions, chance to hold size/strength gains.
Defense: Calm approach to balls on ground, takes a little while to get ride of it, footwork is technically sound though somewhat mechanical. Projects as a corner OF.
Arm: RH. OF - 82 mph. Compact clean arm action, ball comes out well though overall carry somewhat limited by less than aggressive finish to throws.
Hit: RHH. Slightly open, weight starts slightly toward backside, tall setup, waggles barrel during lower body load, high knee lift, quite a few moving parts. Seems to see ball well, leans back to stay behind ball with aggressively steep swing angle, top hand finishes swing well, uses lower body well, has some hip drift but also gets back hip through.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity in cage front toss session.
Run: 7.34 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Small rocker step in front of rubber, knee lift just to waist, controlled stride, lands with stable plant foot slightly open, good body control w/slight spin off.
Arm Action: RH. Clean backside, depth just below waist, shortens up as he starts forward, hints of arm speed w/high-3/4 slot.
FB: T80, 78-79 mph. Controlled glove side well, struggled w/arm side a bit, some comeback action on glove side.
SL: 70-72 mph. Big shape, downer depth in wind up, left up while in stretch.
CH: 74-76 mph. Kept down in wind up, a bit up in stretch, straight, decent pace off FB.
