Bay Area World Series 2020 (BAWS) - Uncommitted; Well-rounded player w/offensive and defensive talents that all show up in glimpses and do project his ability to play beyond HS. Just a bit more size and strength will enhance all the tools a bit more and elevate how all the tools play.

1/11/20

CV Preseason ID

Medium framed middle infielder has started to fill in with more strength and that added strength has translated into more juice on balls hit (85 EV) since last seeing him during the 2019 Central Valley Preseason ID. Hitting from a coiled, low hands set up and utilizing his balance to keep a high-front knee hang, Bravo was able to get his quick hands through the zone lifting balls on contact and making consistent hard contact through the pullside. On defense he shows quick actions that allow him to allow his glove to play independently and having a quick release to get rid of the baseball. The arm strength plays up because of that quick release and hit ability to keep the ball on the bag (79 MPH). The defensive intelligence is present and with some added burst could see him make a big jump.

1/13/19

PBR Central Valley Preseason ID - Small frame with length in legs/torso and tight waist; projectable build that will grow and fill out as he strengthens and matures. Quick feet with good first step (7.68 60-yd dash). Tall, narrow stance with very high back elbow and slight lean into back foot; gathers into back hip with front foot lift while hands load back. Bat shows projectable bat speed with the ability to create a quick arc and turn the barrel into the zone; level swing with some flashes of gap power and future bat-to-ball skills (81 exit velo). Smooth fielding infielder with the ability to stick in the middle of the diamond; keeps moving well through the ball with strong angles. Replaces feet well on throws with a smooth, quick release in compact arm; average with flashes of more when needed and can make throws from different angles (76 mph).
