BAWS 2019 - High waist, longer lower half with squared shoulders; projectable frame lean with room for added strength (7.58 60yd). Narrow stance with hands at back shoulder utilizing big knee tuck as weight transfer forward; hands have slight drift backwards staying tight to the body with good ability to control his forward momentum. Barrel works directly to the baseball with quick action cutting the zone; showed ability to drive the pull side with some length into the gaps (67 EV). Showed good footspeed on a triple down the RF line with 4.78T. Active feet keeping himself through the baseball showing ability to get hips low; keeps eyes behind the ball moving well. Loose mid-slot arm flashes run (78 MPH). Stretch only keeping hands tight at waist with tight tucked front knee getting high; weight drifts over toes with cross fire action down the hill having high glove on break. Arm is long and loose out of the glove with 3/4 release. When hips work with body can get great angle; times where he’s fighting the lower half with his crossfire delivery. FB 78-81 to lower half of both sides of the plate. CHG 69-70 with arm side run and feel early in counts. SLD 71-73 showing long sweep with bits of depth; times where he cuts it making it looser 10/5 shape. SLD was good swing and miss pitch during 1st inning; 2nd inning saw him finding more of the plate and was squared up.
