ACG Tryout - Tripaldi has a thin build, but surprising pop for his size. Consistently on time and ready to hit (had two HH 1B’s during the live scrimmage). Defensively, Tripaldi has a quick, quick transfer and rangy athleticism. Ran a 7.05 second 60 yard dash and threw 77 mph across the diamond.
6/06/21
Bay Area World Series Underclass (6/4/21-6/6/21)
Offensive notes: Balanced stance even hands, small bend in lower half. Drives back knee to pitcher staying balanced and letting quick strong hands work on time and in sync with body. Ball jumped off the barrel working line-drives to both gaps and more coming. One of the best hitters on the weekend consistently ready to hit and attacking pitches in his zone. Strong weekend at the plate. 60-yard - 7.16 / EV mph - 87
Defensive notes: Very clean glove work showing ability to stay in time through the baseball and utilizing a quick release. Worked well to both sides of him and ball stopped moving once it hit the glove. Athleticism showed up in workouts and carried to games where it looked easy. Arm consistently kept throws firm to the bag. SS mph - 78
