Body: 6-1, 180-pounds. Long body, broad proportions on frame with ample room for future size and strength.
Delivery: closed deceptive delivery. Comes set closed with his front foot offset in front of his back foot. Has a stiff front leg lift, glove side travel toward the left handed batter. Hitters down pick the ball up until it’s too late.
Arm Action: LH. Quick load out of separation working into a fluid low-3/4 delivery.
FB: T78, 73-76 mph. Comes from behind left handed hitters. Commands arm side. Can pitch in. Gets weak contact. Downhill tilt.
CB: 63-68 mph. Small sharp bite that works from the same release point as FB.
CH: 69-71 mph. Arm side horizontal run with late depth. Swing and miss pitch.
Positional Profile: 1B
Hit: LHH. Deep in box, tall set-up, off the plate, open stance, relaxed presentation, smooth lift to get loaded over back foot, easy medium depth load while creating separation, gets even in medium length stride. CB: 59-60 mph. Inconsistent break. Best ones showed small depth. T59-60, 59-60 average rpm.
CUT: 68-70 mph. Held FB shape out of hand with good horizontal actions at plate.
