Physical: 6-2, 160 pounds; Tall/wiry build with present athleticism and projectability.
Offensively: SH. Similar swings from both sides. More upright posture with a wider stance. Small rock into backside in load within a toe-tap trigger. Balance into landing. Hands/barrel work direct to the ball with advanced bat speed for level. A bit more control/authority from the RH side. Creates good leverage with lead front leg. Worked both gaps throughout 2 rounds. More LDs than FBs/GBs. Present pullside power from the RH sie (93.2 max EV).
Defensively: INF - 76 mph. Uses a prep-hop. Relaxed approach in the OF. Fielded every ball cleanly. Got through the ball without breaking momentum. Glove-tap before working to release at times. Slight stab in the back with the arm action. Above avg. arm strength for level. 4/5 accurate throws that were a mix of 1-2 hop throws.
Pitching: Side steps as hands go over head. Uses a chest high knee lift. Lower glove arm. More IR dominant drive leg. Slight stab in the back that gets into some scap engagement. Lands in-line. Finishes over a bent front leg. Level shoulders and a still head. Arm works to a normal 3/4 slot at release. The FB worked 74-78 showing straighter shape with minimal IHB and was in-zone at a 14% clip. The SL was of shorter shape at 64-66 getting only about 5 inches of sweep. His CH was 64-68 and was more of a straight change due to minimal difference in movement profile off FB. CT was solid at 66-68 killing some depth off FB and getting up to 7 inches of sweep.
