3/28/18 - Uncommitted. Controlled chip on his shoulder, fiery competitive who is committed to every pitch he throws. Likes to work uptempo and control the game. Hitters have a hard time getting comfortable in the box against his tempo and control of his velocity. Four seam fastball reaches 88 mph, consistent at 86, 87. Takes a little off his two-seamer he uses for arm side run, consistent at 82. Comfortable using both sides of the plate with either fastball. Breaking ball changes slots and planes with hard late break and is very comfortable throwing inside to right-handed hitters, ties their hands up. Breaking ball sets up inside four-seam beautifully.

3/27/18 - Uncommitted. Big burly durable 6-foot-2 200-pound body type. Mollerus is starting to come into his own on the mound after being primarily a corner infielder early in his high school years. He has a quick and strong arm that is is quite aggressive with. There are some inconsistencies in his delivery, in relation to getting to consistent release point, but the stuff is good and will keep improving. As the the mechanics clean up (smoothing out the back side arm action, direction of front side, staying on line toward plate longer, finishing out over front leg), there is a potential power arm in there. He throws a heavy ball (86-90 mph) that at times can sink and other times run and ride. It's got good length through the zone. His breaking ball (76-78 mph) is a tight and quick breaking slider that has a chance to be a power breaking, he showed an ability tilt it and power it under bats. He also can get a little lateral with it, depending on how the delivery unfolds. The video gives a good glimpse of what the delivery and arm action are like. The stuff though, as he closed one game and then started another game, ended the conversations that were going on among coaches and scouts on a long day because the radar guns came out and the eyes turned to him.
