Arm: C mph -75, pops 2.04-2.15; Compact exchange/quick arm path. Consistent in-line stride after replacing feet, efficient transfer. Showed ability to repeatedly make throws on the inside of the bag.Â
Defense: Demonstrated good mobility/athletic instincts behind the plate through strong blocking technique/quick recovery skills. Receives the ball well behind the plate, works from below the ball up. Could improve on softer hands.
Hit: RHH. Balanced stance with even feet, medium hands with some movement. Uses a simple leg kick trigger for timing with a simultaneous barrel cock. Loads straight back with some depth, varied between two hand finish around back to occasional top hand release. Does a good job of letting the ball travel, showed ability to hit to the right side. Clean/uphill bat path.
