Positional Profile: LHP Quality left-handed pitcher with a four-pitch offering and starter ability at the next level. Body: 6-2, 200-pounds. Starters build, strong lower half. Delivery: Works quickly, slight lean back creating upper half torque, short stride. Arm Action: Feel for pitches, average arm speed, arm stamina. FB: T84, 82-84 mph. 11:45 Tilt, 2067 Spin Rate, 24.1 IVB (93rd percentile Extreme Ride), -1.7 HB (35th percentile Very low Cut). Fastball acts as if it is rising at an extreme level with cut in relation to a straight pitch. CB: 67-68 mph. 4:00 Tilt, 2195 Spin Rate, commanded the pitch side-to-side, at best locating back foot to RHH. SL: 71-73 mph. 2:00 Tilt, 2183 Spin Rate, developmental pitch, shows true slider movement and spin, potential down the line. CH: 71-72 mph. 11:15 Tilt, 20.2 IVB (93rd percentile Extreme Ride), -7.8 HB (64th percentile Slight Cut), 1504 Spin Rate. Orange County Preseason All-State - strong sturdy athletic build in a 6-foot-2 200 pound frame. The left-hander worked quickly and filled up the zone with a three-pitch-mix. Arches his back to create power and fires towards home plate. Located his fastball to both sides of the plate at 79-81 mph with carry through the zone. Curveball had a sharp break to it and some swing and miss action at 67 mph while consistently commanding the pitch. Change-up looked like his fastball out of the hand with run and sink at 68-70 mph while offering an ideal speed differential. Starter potential with a projectable frame that should see innings this season with a chance to raise his value with a gain in velocity.
