Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Drops hands on the way back with a moderate leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 100.00 MPH via Trackman. Powerful looking swing, 90% hard hit, 100 mph exit velo, bat has juice.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; utilizing a traditional primary position while being aggressive. Hands work through the ball with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot. 1.97-2.02 pop times. C - 79.00 MPH. Good feel for the catching position, quick release, consistent throwing accuracy, laterally athletic.
