2/18/19 - Scrimmage (2) - Uncommitted as of this report. Lean avg athletic build at 5-foot-10, 170-pounds. Impressive all day vs at times vs high-caliber pitching, against both RHP and LHP. He keeps the front shoulder in very well and the barrel gets through the zone with life and bat control. He's short to the ball and clearly sees it well, allowing him to spit on tougher pitches biting out of the zone that lesser hitters would swing at. He pounded a double off a good left-hander and lined out hard to centerfield off a 89-91 mph right-hander. Most of his at-bats during the day were plus at-bats. In doing some research, his father was a standout hitter at Cal State Fullerton (1979-1982).
