Bay Area World Series Underclass (6/4/21-6/6/21)
Pitching notes: Early lean in the momentum building delivery allowed him to tuck the high front knee separating on time and having arm in good position. Long and easy out of glove with high back elbow to 3/4 release. FB was live in the zone with run and gloveside angle. SLD short and quick with tilt at the end showing ability to have depth occur through the zone. Feel for the slider and able to go backdoor on hitters. Frame projects for more on the hill and both pitches have projection. FB 77-81 / SL 69-74
Offensive notes: High hands, tall posture having push back on load. Full turns on the hips with top hand driving the swing. Best swings had more carry with contact out front. 60-yard - 7.75 / EV mph - 85
Defensive notes: Stays straight inline through the ball and able to keep high posture to allow higher 3/4 release. Arm is projectable and was consistently accurate. OF mph - 80
