Positional Profile: OF Body: 5-10, 155-pounds. Average frame, longer arms, lean with strength and very well-proportioned. Hit: RHH. Pinched knees, starts slightly open, hands held high with back elbow parallel to ground, back foot position set to more easily get to hip rotation, closes stride, some barring of lead arm with some head tip during swing. Power: 87 mph exit velocity in live BP via TrackMan. Max hand speed 20.6, max bat speed 64.2. Arm: RH. OF - 78 mph. Long arm action with depth and some cupping of ball on backside, minimal carry though generally on target. Defense: Sees ball well, aggressive approach, drives through ball into throwing mechanics, made adjustments well on tough hops, projects to LF. Run: 7.73 runner in the 60.
Positional Profile: RHP Delivery: Calm patient beginning to delivery, high knee lift just above hips, tucks and gathers over rubber in compact manner, glides down slope to long stride, finishes well. Arm Action: RH. Circular backside getting toward full extension away from body, elbow getes above hand just before starting forward, overhand slot. FB: T73, 70-73 mph. Straight, worked up quite a bit, arm speed appears to be better than the velo coming out, long extension can help it play up a bit. CB: 57-59 mph. Slow CB with smaller lateral break, spin rate will have to climb to create more action, did work down in zone well.
8/17/19
PBR CA STATE GAMES - Medium frame, lean build with tight muscles; athleticism with ability to move well (4.5 H-1st). Showed defensive ability covering ground in OF and flashing lateral range at 3B. Fair arm that should keep improving with strength. At the plate high hands, tall stance using toe tap before high front foot lift.
