BAWS 2019 - Medium, high waist wider shoulder build. Hands stay tight to the waist with average knee having some back turn and chin tucking. Controls front leg well staying online down the hill with higher kick over the solid front leg. Some length out of the glove with slight load in back shoulder; consistent 3/4 release. FB 78-82 T83 with run on the arm side and angle glove side. CB 69-71 11/4 shape having consistent short break; can get pitch under the LHH’s hands. Attacked the zone with 2 K’s in 1st inning finding more of the plate during 2nd inning.

10/7/18 - Central Coast Open - 5-foot-10, 155-pounds, wiry lean and young body type. Arm flashed better on the mound as he works from a simple delivery keeping his hands at the waist before showing a slight turn with front knee and front shoulder tuck. The arm has a longer action on backside with quickness to get to mid-3/4 release point. Good rhythm, good direction and lower body stability, able to get to quality extension and manipulate the ball at release. Stuff comes out pretty easily and more velocity should come as he gets stronger. Pitchability looked to be a plus attribute. Fastball (79-81 mph) with life and natural sink, curveball (68-72 mph) with 11/5 shape, late action and above average bite, throws it with feel as well. It's a good curveball. Change-up (71-74 mph) also an above average offering, showed feel and threw with good arm speed off his fastball look. Pitch maker and a confident one at that.

Position - Offensively keeps a narrow stance with a foot lift for timing while keeping his high hands and high back elbow loaded and balanced. Bat has some length but when working in time has ability to square up balls to the pull side gap. In the infield he works as a deep fielder with a short range. The arm showed carry with a bow and arrow style action and ability to work throws from multiple angles (75 MPH).

6/1/18-6/3/18 @ BAWS 2018 - Smallish 5-foot-9 150-pound catcher with multi-positional ability. Balanced stance with high back elbow and quiet front side; ability to stay loaded and hit from back hip with longer bat path. Fair arm strength while showing quick transitions on throws to 2nd base (2.13-2.16 Home-1st); better blocker than receiver. Heavy footed runner will need to create more foot speed and quickness as he develops; 4.94 Home-1st.
