Bay Area World Series 2020 (BAWS) - Uncommitted; Big physical body type that immediately draws positive attn; then the raw stuff shows up, w/FB up to 86, sitting steadily in mid-80s. Didn't see CB from him but mixed in a few CHGs. The potential to get into upper-80s that's the main attraction.
BAWS 2019 - High waisted large frame with wide shoulders; strength in build with wide tight chest. Hands stay at chest with simple step and turn having exaggerated high leg kick past back leg with back leg bending early pushing momentum forward. Stays inline going down the hill controlling the hips as elbow pulls ball out of glove high by back ear; deceptive arm action having pitches jump on hitters. FB 76-80 T82 showing some late armside fade with flashes of going gloveside. CHG 73-75 showing arm side run short with some dive. Attacked the zone pounding his armside with both the FB and CHG getting lots of late swings; 5 K’s all by FB with a couple of flyballs as well. Chane for his stuff to make some jumps.
