5/23/18 - Rangy bodied righty with a long arm swing to a three-quarters slot. Landed cross-body with some angle, presenting a tough look for right-handed hitters. Righties are slugging over 100 points lower (.313 vs .423) than lefty hitters this season. The control of his 90-93 mph fastball came and went, but did show consistent armside sink. His 82-83 mph slanting slider showed depth when he stayed behind it and caught it just right out front. Many were longer, flatter breaking with side-to-side action. Overall, it was an inconsistent pitch on this look. Showed a changeup with armside sink between innings. Slides to the plate from the stretch at 1.26-1.29. Profiles as a reliever at the next level and a possible selection around the 10th round.
