A 5-foot-9, 165-pound right hand hitting OF who ran a 6.68 60. Athletic player with good speed, at the plate he stands slightly open with a long stride for timing.  Hits off his front side with quick hands on the inside pitch.  He showed good control of the bat to all parts of the field with several line drives in the gaps. Exit velocity was 84 MPH off the tee.  In the field he is quick to balls left and right.  Delivers from a high ¾ arm slot with good accuracy to the bag.  Arm velocity was 74 MPH.

5-foot-9, 162-pounds. Bats and throws right. Has a balanced, even stance. Good frame with medium load and fast hands. Fluid hip torque. Contact, gap, line drive hitter. Produced a 80 mph exit velocity off of the tee. In the outfield shows range, and gains ground on balls. Solid fundamentals, throwing 75 mph from the outfield. Ran an event fastest 6.75 60. Player with a lot of tools.

5-foot-9, 162-pound junior ran a 6.82 60-yard dash, the top time for this event.  He threw 72 mph from the outfield and showcased an accurate arm both to the base and to the cut off position.  At the plate Gipson hits from a balanced stance with a double toe tap for his load.  A slight bat wrap at the beginning of the swing puts his hands at the top of the zone.  He has good hands on balls in and good power to the left-center gap.

8-16-14

5-foot-9, 153-pound right-handed hitting outfielder impressed running the 60 yard dash at 6.85 seconds. Hits from a tall setup with a short stride, slight leg kick, hands wrap back, creating slightly uphill bat path with 74 mph exit velocity off the tee.  Defensively, throws from a long, high ¾ arm slot at 73 mph from the outfield.  Also ran 4.41 from home to first.
