Bat stays in hitting zone, and has a good approach at the plate. On the year is hitting .545 with 23 RBI"s, 5 homeruns, and 5 doubles.

6-foot-5, 180-pound junior hits from a tall 60/40 stance with long arms that swing the bat level through the zone.  Good lower half drive at contact produced an 83 mph exit velocity and balls with good carry into the gaps.  Turner ran a 7.47 60 and showed good athletic feet at first base that put him in good throwing position to 2^nd base on double play balls.  He had a 71 mph arm velocity during infield evaluations.

6-foot-4, 155-pound right-handed hitting first baseman.  Defensively at first base, threw 69 mph across the diamond with accuracy from short, high ¾ arm action. He would add more velocity if he closes is front side down as he tends to open up front hip before he throws. Hits from a balanced setup, with a short stride. His hands are positioned at the top of the hitting zone with minimal load.  He has a short path to the ball with extension that produces line drives at 79 mph exit velocity.  Has some good power potential as he continues to grow into his frame.  Ran a 4.47 home to first.
