His strength is his ability to pitch backwards, throw his breaking ball for strikes, and keep hitters guessing. His FB is 83-86, 4 seam type, able to work both sides of the plate. Curve is a 12/6 type, low 70's velo, breaks late. He is comfortable bouncing his CB for a true K pitch. He has a circle change, usually a reliable pitch, but he's used it less frequent of late. He has had some arm tenderness this spring. When he is healthy, he could pitch with most guys in the state.
