3/29/22

Reese, pitches from the stretch, found a great rhythm after giving up 3 1st inning runs. 4 â innings, 2H, 4ER, 11K’s. Reese pitched in the  zone in final    3 â innings. FB 86-89 with great ASR. CB 73-75 with 12/6 action, located CB for strike and kept it down for strikeout pitch. CH 75. Reese is refining mechanics and showed great signs in this outing. Very difficult on LHH.

8/03/19

Reese has a projectable frame at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds and is a left-handed hitting first base and left-handed pitcher in the 2022 class. He ran a 7..48 second 60 and posted an exit velocity of 88 mph. During batting practice, Reese starts slightly open, lift and place load, in line stride, some rhythm with hands, showed some pop to left center field during round. On the infield, Reese shows his athleticism, fluid footwork, clean transfers, momentum towards target, positional velocity of 73 mph, very accurate throws. Drop and drive motion on the mound, lands in-line and stays square through delivery. Arm is loose and over the top. Fastball was an easy 82 mph with late run and his curve flashed tight spin at 67-69 mph with late 2/7 break.
