7/01/20

5-foot-10, 160-pound, wiry strong athletic frame. Squared off shoulders, with room to add weight on. A right-handed two-way player, solid defensive actions, feet move throughout, glove is soft out front, working low to the ground. The arm action is natural and clean from a  3/4 slot, clocked at 82 mph, with plenty of carry and flight to all throws. The turns and feeds around the bag are performed correct. At the plate, starts slightly open,  hands are loose at the shoulders, good backside drive, supplying power to the swing. The swing is level to up, looks to stay in the middle of the field. Exit velocity of 81 mph and ran 7.47 sixty-yard dash. Off the mound, throws a 3 pitch mix. The delivery is sound, builds momentum down the mound. Gets out front on the finish, squaring up to the plate, pounds the zone with strikes. The arm is clean working from a 3/4 slot. The fastball was at 83 mph, with a curveball at 66 mph, tight spin, with proper break. Shows feel for the changeup as well.  Look for him to be able to do both at the next level.

Exit Velocity: 81 mph

Arm Velocity: 82 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.47

3/04/20

5-foot-10, 155-pound, average athletic frame, squared off shoulders, showing good strength to him. A right-handed pitcher, who pounds the zone with plus feel for pitching. The delivery is sound, deliberate, could speed it up and build more momentum. Lands slightly across the body, front foot closed off. The arm action is super clean on the back side working out of a natural 3/4 slot. The fastball sat at 80 mph for the entire outing, gets through the catcher, with minimal 2-seam sink. Throws two plus secondary pitches, changeup has action and fade, looking like a fastball out of the hand, clocked at 73-75 mph. The curveball has depth, with a bigger, tighter break, thrown for strikes, clocked at 69 mph. Pounds zone and attacks. Look for the velocity to jump, arm action is so true, clean.

6/19/19

5-foot-10, 155-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder and pitcher. Ran a 7.69 sixty on the laser at the event. The actions in the infield are clean, the feet need to remain active during the fielding process. Threw 78 mph across the diamond as the arm works free and clean. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 80 mph. The setup is even in base, uses a knee to knee approach on the bottom half as the ball approaches. The path is clean, small amount of uphill to the bat path. The hands work clean. On the mound, the fastball sat 77- 79 mph, minimal amount of arm side action to the pitch. The spin pitch is big in shape, sitting 62-64 mph. The changeup is 70 -72 mph, needs a spin fix. The delivery has crossfire to the feet and the slot is above 3/4 in height. The arm is long and clean, posture is an issue as he arches his back as he separates his hands. The glove has pull to it, taking him offline of the catcher.

Tee Exit Velocity - 80 mph
INF Velocity- 78 mph

6/08/19

5-foot-10, 155-pound, smaller, thin athletic frame, with room for advancement. A right-handed two-way player. At the plate, taller, open stance, hands are loose at the shoulders. Looks to keep hands inside the baseball, driving it to all fields.  The swing gets a tick up hill, with reps can flatten. Shows solid bat to ball skills, making hard contact consistently. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 82 mph and ran a 7.63 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, solid fielding skills, glove is soft, moves well to both sides.  Starts, feeds and finishes the double play at a high level. Look for him to be able to play on either side of the bag. The arm will have enough strength to stick on the left side, clocked at 76 mph, more in there with added strength. Off the mound, shows a solid three pitch mix. The delivery is controlled staying over the backside and getting inline to plate. The arm works out of a ¾ to high ¾ slot, with fastball clocked at 78 mph, breaking ball with a bigger break at 60 mph, needing more fastball hand speed. Pounds the zone and works fast. Projects for me more as a position player, look for his game to take off.

Exit Velocity: 82 mph
Arm Velocity: 76 mph
Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.63

8/23/18

5-foot-9, 145-pound, small, wiry strong athletic frame. The shoulders are rounded has room for future development. A two-way player top tool is his defensive skill set. The hands are super soft, very good feet to and through the baseball. The arm action is clean works out of a natural ¾ slot, clocked at 78 mph. The double play feeds and starts were correct, could play on either side of the bag, arm has enough strength to play on left side. The pro move was made with ease. At the plate, is balanced, uses a controlled leg kick, . The Hands get back, loads up, swing path is clean and is on time and gets through the baseball. The tee exit was only 73 mph, but has a ton more in there as he physically matures. Off the mound, simple easy delivery, good direction with lower half. The arm has average length, works out of a ¾ to high ¾ slot. The fastball touched 78 mph, located it to both sides, with changing the eye level. The breaking ball has big break from top to bottom, clocked at 58 mph, needs to be thrown hard, with deeper action. The change up was thrown at 70 mph, arm side fade to it. Showed the ability to hold runners and is an athlete off the mound. Love the tempo and pace that he plays at, strength is must, solid follow, potential to be one of the better players in this class.
