7/06/20

Physical: Large and athletic 6-foot, 180-pound frame with impressive straight line speed for his size. 7.06 runner in the 60-yard dash. Cloud County CC

Offensively: RHH. Tall, even stance with a slight bend in the knees and the hands resting idle on the shoulder pre-load. Utilized a lift and replace stride to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path with some weight shift into a stiff front side at the front of the plate. Repetitively used the middle of the field during batting practice with advanced bat to ball skills and control of the hands, getting to extension with authority. Natural lift to the pull-side gap with occasional home run power in game action. Registered a top of 95 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball and a max distance of 331 feet on a batted ball.

Defensively: The primary middle infielder played low to the ground with advanced feel for timing to the baseball. Feet worked through the baseball with a soft glove hand fielding off of the left side of the body. Made plays on the run with ease and could range to either side with a feel for the “banana route” technique. Arm worked accurately with present carry across the diamond out of a high ¾ slot with a moderate arm swing. SS - 87 mph.
