2/9/19- ProCase

5-foot-10. 170-pound right-hander. The fastball touched 88 mph, arm side action to the pitch, The spin pitch is frisbee style, has good action to it, sits 76-78 mph. The changeup has the right action to it, sitting 78-82 mph. The delivery is quick in tempo and online with the feet. The slot is a loose 3/4. The head has a small amount of movement to it, caused by a hard pulling action of the front side. The lift is quick and high, repeated and certainly athletic. The arm is very quick, would like to see him have less pull so he isn't stretched out at release, it would keep him healthy and spike his velocity.

PROCASE

5-foot-9, 140-pound quick armed right-hander out of Connecticut. The fastball touched 87 mph with arm side run and sink to it. The breaking ball was 73 -75, and the shape of the pitch is done appropriately. The changeup is 75-76 with sink and fade to the pitch. All 2 pitches continues to improve as he develops. The delivery is online with his feet and the slot is ¾. Uses a small coil at the top of his lift. The delivery is repeated and compact. All 3 pitches have the correct spin, the breaking ball and changeup can be tightened up as he progresses. The movements are athletic and the future is bright for this young arm

11/2/16

6-foot-1, 145-pound, thin, long and athletic frame, has a ton of room to fill out. The arms are very long and shows to have loose motions. A right-handed pitcher, the delivery is smooth and has a fluidity to it. The hands start low, and work up with his controlled leg raise. The gather is high and tight to the body. The arm action is clean, quick and the baseball comes out of a ¾ slot. The baseball jumps out of his hand, fastball ball was clocked at 84-86 mph with serious life. The breaking ball is an above average pitch at 74-76 mph, it’s a knee buckler. The changeup has action to it on the arm side, thrown slightly hard at 77-80 mph. Times to the plate were at 1.85, could be quicker. Attended the Future games this past summer, this was by far his best performance, big time arm. Strength is a must, if the frame fills out has a chance to pitch at a very high level.

8/5/16-Future Game Report

5-foot-9, 130-pound thin athletic frame, has plenty of room for future development. A right-handed pitcher, arm is clean with whip to it and he works out of a natural ¾ slot. The delivery is repeatable, gets a good gather, front elbow gets locked behind front leg, pulls heavy with front side and gets good extension on release. The direction of front foot and stride length is good. The fastball was 79-81 mph, ball jumps out of his hand. The breaking ball has some slurve action to it and was clocked at 70 mph. The changeup was clocked at 74-76 mph, with depth. The arm has a ton more in there, a three pitch pitcher, who attacks and goes after hitters.

7/12/16
5-feet-9, 140 pounds, right-handed pitcher with a young and athletic body, wiry frame with some length. Will grow more and put on strength and weight. Delivery has some effort to it, compact leg kick, pulls a little heavy with the front side and ball comes out of low ¾ arm slot with whip like action. The fastball shows good arm side run at 79-82 mph to both sides of the plate. Fastball jumps out of his hand with sinking life. Breaking ball is best out pitch, good spin at 70-72 mph with sweeping action. Change up is good with late fade action to the arm side at 72-75 mph. The fastball has much more in the tank, leading up to this event, has logged a good amount of innings. Look for the fastball to climb on a regular basis. Serious follow, attending the future games in Indianapolis in August of 2016.

10/12/15
At 5-foot-9, 132-pounds the frame is thin and wiry strong. Lots of room to put added weight and strength on. On the mound this right-hander comes at you from a low-¾ slot. The arm is clean, free and easy. The leg lift is easy, high and has some coil to it. The fastball was 77-81, with plus action to it on the arm-side. Fastball still had life to it, even after throwing a good amount the day prior. The breaking ball is a slurvey slider, thrown at 67-68, starts it at the hitter, gets late break to it. The changeup is a plus pitch, sells it with good arm action and with his delivery, proper spin, with arm side run to it. At the plate hits from the right side, the stance is open to even, backside drops at times. The tee exit velocity was 74. In the field showed solid hands, with a good backhand. The future is off the mound, strength and proper conditioning are a must.  Definite follow for me, need to see him next spring.
