A right-handed hitter, lower half is under control clean stride, stays behind the baseball on contact. the hands are relaxed, swing is down to level to up, higher finish, creating backspin to the baseball. The exit velocity was clocked at 76 mph, with more in there as he continues to mature and physically gets stronger. Defensively, put together a good workout, setup is athletic, slightly staggered, The glove is soft on receiving, sticks the pitch and doesn't lose many strikes. The arm action is short and clean working from a higher slot, front side could close down a bit more. The arm was clocked at 63 mph and had a pop time of 2.38-2.42. Good looking young catcher.
