6-feet-160 pounds, lean, athletic build. He displayed good hands in the field and has the requisite athleticism to slot into a number of positions across the diamond, though he is a third baseman for now. The arm action can get a little long for now, with repetition, this can be shortened. With the bat, Seymour has a fluid lefty stroke, compact swing. The bat has no pre-pitch movement as the wrists load up early on the ball. Seymour’s whole body rocks backwards before the pitch comes in but gets momentum moving forward with his leg kick. Some untapped power in the bat should actualize in the coming seasons. As a pitcher, Seymour’s repertoire features a fastball, curveball, and changeup. The fastball sat between 73-76 MPH in game with some arm side movement. The curveball was 60-64 mph with good drop, flashed ability to miss bats but was inconsistent with control. The changeup is a work in progress. The delivery is simple, repeats it without much effort, is inline, frontside is strong, gets squared up on release. Seymour profiles best as a position player moving forward, specifically as a third baseman or a corner outfielder.

6-foot, 150-pound, average athletic frame, arms are long, has plenty of room to fill out. A left-handed hitter, starts from a slightly open to even stance and is shoulder width apart. The hands are loose, at shoulder height and bat is in good starting position. The swing path is level to up, finishes with one hand, barrel stays in the zone a good amount of time. The tee exit velocity was 81 mph, has some life and whip to it. Time down the line was good at 4.5. The weight shifts backwards at times on contact, could keep momentum going forward would get through it better. Defensively, has short quick arm from outfield, clocked at 78 mph, has good flight and gave the fielders something to handle. The step through could be faster and more aggressive attacking the baseball. On the mound, this right-hander, works out of a clean and simple delivery. The leg raise is small, could get to a more powerful gather. The arm action is short and clean, fastball was 74-77 mph, with more 77’s. The fastball has good arm side sink, threw strikes down in the zone. The breaking ball was 63-65 mph had good depth to it. The back leg could stay stronger on the backside. Good looking young left-handed hitter.
