6-foot, 145-pound lean athletic frame. Projectable during batting practice, Martins clocked an exit velocity of 79 mph. Began in a wide balanced stance with an arm bar load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed is above average, displays an upward swing plane and high finish. During his round he produced loud contact and found some barrels. Pull side approach. Raw in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 75 mph; had soft hands, a natural exchange, and developing footwork. Had a high ¾ slot and a long arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.5. Above average on the mound, showed good arm speed, also used a ¾ arm angle with a long arm action. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who shows some effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 67-71 mph;has sinking action and control low in the zone. Has a 1/7 curveball 58-59 mph; that shows consistent command and early action. His changeup 65-66 mpg; had fading action and arm side command.
