9/8/17

5-foot-10, 157-pound, strong, super athletic physical frame, is put together very well and has strength throughout. A right-handed hitter who is athletic on both sides of the field, projects more as an outfielder for me. A right-handed hitter, the stance is balanced throughout, slightly open, hands held higher with tilt to them.  For timing uses a small leg kick, gains ground with the stride, swing is down to level, gets good extension out front, finishes high with one hand. The hands stay inside the baseball, approach is more gap to gap, spraying one line drive after another. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 84 mph, barrel has life out front on contact, ran a 4.53 from home to first, plays the game faster than his times. Defensively, worked out in both the outfield and infield. From the outfield the arm was clocked at 81 mph, with above average carry and life on throws.  The routes and angles are correct and smooth, glides with ease tracking the baseball. In the infield, moves well to both sides, gets around the baseball with momentum towards the target. The arm was clocked at 81 mph, has average length on the back side. The open hip double play was performed well. Projects more as a second baseman, if he was going to stick in the infield, long range for me is in outfield, high follow.

Home to First- 4.53

Exit Velocity-84 MPH

Arm Velocity-OF-81 MPH, INF-80 MPH

6/20/17

5-foot-10, 157-pound, super athletic frame, a well proportioned athlete, has strength throughout, is put together well. A right-handed hitter, the swing is loose with whip in his bat. The stance is balanced throughout, front foot slightly open, shoulder width apart, hands are super loose, set above the shoulder. The swing down to level to up and has a classic one handed finish, is short to the baseball gets through it on the finish. The approach is gap to gap, with line drives, looks to drive it to all fields, hits it where it's pitched. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 85 mph and ran a 4.75 from home to first, look for the time to decrease as he adds more strength to the lower body. Defensively, projects more as an outfielder, shows advanced routes, angles and footwork is good, steps through hard and gains ground, transfer is crisp from glove to throwing hand. The arm action is super clean, has some length to it from out there clocked at 81 mph, has above average flight and carry to it. Worked out at shortstop as well, has solid actions and good flow, feet move throughout. The arm action is shorter from the infield, clocked at 79 mph, showed good carry across the diamond. The open hip double play feed was on time, slow roller had rhythm to it. Projects for me as more of an outfielder with the ability to play the infield, most likely second base, good looking athlete.

Home - First: 4.75

Exit Velocity: 85 mph

Arm Velocity: OF-81 mph, INF-79 mph

3/7/17

5-foot-10 157-pound, super athletic frame. A well proportioned athlete, hands, wrists and legs have strength to them. A right-handed hitting outfielder, the stance is loose, and balanced. The feet are shoulder width apart, front foot is slightly open, hands are set even at shoulder height, are loose relaxed and bat is in a good starting position. The swing path is flat through the zone, barrel stays in the zone for a long time, keeps hands inside the baseball, drives the ball to all fields. The tee exit velocity was 84 mph, with a ton more left in his swing, approach is gap to gap, has enough pop to get the baseball into the alleys. Defensively, can go get the baseball in the outfield. The routes and angles are smooth, approach to the baseball is under control, glides to the baseball. The arm was clocked at 82 mph, showed to have plenty of life and carry to throws. The arm action has average length, works out of a ¾ to high ¾ slot. An athlete someone to follow this summer.

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.5

Exit Velocity: 84 mph

Arm Velocity: 82 mph

2/25/17

5-foot-10, 157-pound, strong athletic frame, extremely athletic, has plenty of room to fill out. A right-handed hitter, is balanced throughout his swing, approach is advanced, drives it to all fields, has enough pop in his hands to beat the outfielders. The stance is open, wider than shoulder width, gets the front foot back to even with his controlled leg raise. The hands start at shoulder height, with the bat flat in a good starting position. The swing is level across his chest, keeps the barrel stays in the zone a long time, gets through the baseball well, finishes the swing high with one hand. The hands are loose, quick and the swing has little effort to it. Defensively, plays the outfield, is advanced, prep steps and approach to the baseball are good. The arm action is short and clean on the back, has above average strength to it, flight is downhill, ball jumps out of his hand, clocked at 83 mph. Big time follow, look for the game to take off once he gets more reps and game experience.

Sixty-Yard Dash:7.0

Exit Velocity: 84 mph

Arm Velocity: 83 mph
