JP O'Neill: C/OF, (2024) North Haven, CT. 6-foot, 175-pound. (63.5 mph bat speed average). (16.7 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed was efficient, showed a simple upward swing plane and high finish. While catching, he produced a position velocity of 68 mph during throw downs; showed a natural transfer, consistent feet, and sure hands. he had a pop time of 2.12-2.20. Calm setup with some flexibility. Had a quick arm action on his throws. Clocked a time of 7.7 in the 60-yard dash.

He barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Opposite field approach. Behind the plate, he made throws to second at velocities up to 65 mph; had quick fluid footwork, a clean exchange, and soft hands. recorded pop times of 2.20-2.40. 10/14/20
5-foot-9, 149-pound, athletic frame, wiry strength with room for added weight gains. A left-handed hitter, at the plate, starting slightly closed off, feet are at the shoulder width. The hands are held higher, extended back elbow, for timing uses a small pick up and put down. Stepping in, direction needs to be inline more. The hands work with easy effort, path needs to straighten at times, approach more middle to opposite. Rolls the hands late, creates backspin to baseball to opposite gap. The exit velocity was clocked at 79 mph, potential to hit at some point. Defensively, had a pop time of 2.20-2.25, arm was clocked at 63 mph. An average arm a path, slight wiggle on the backside. The feet are quick, gains ground, glove can transfer more closer to face, from glove to hand. Good looking young player, high follow for me.

Arm Velocity: 63 mph
Sixty-Yard Dash: 8.25
2/17/20
5-foot-6, 140-pound, smaller, thin athletic frame. Longer neck with sloped shoulders, has room for added weight. A left-handed hitting catcher, balanced setup, loose relaxed hands, lower half is under control. The swing is level, staying in the middle of the field, showed he can go opposite field with minimal effort, with more line drives. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 70 mph and ran a 8.65 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, threw 62 mph from the chute. The setup is relaxed and athletic behind the plate. The arm action is whippy and clean. Added strength and weight gain will aid in development.
