6/19/19

6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Continues to improve each and every time I see him. Ran a 7.23 sixty on the laser at the event. The fielding is solid, he moves through the ball and the feet are active and appropriate. Threw 83 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 89 mph. The setup is even in base, rotational as the swing is produced. The hands work free and clean to contact, solid contact all day. I think he is really gonna hit at the college level.

Tee Exit Velocity- 89 mph
INF Velocity - 83 mph

6/27/18

6-foot,175-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. The bat is advanced, took batting practice like a professional, spreading the field, staying inside the ball and in his skill set. Ran a 7.48 sixty on the laser at the event. Threw 77 mph across the diamond from shortstop. The glove is solid and he moves appropriately through the baseball. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 84 mph. Sets up even in base, the bottom half stays under control throughout. The hands work clean and free to the ball. The path is simple, flat and accelerated through contact. Swung the bat very well in live game action. Big time offensive second baseman at the college level, in my opinion.

Tee Exit Velocity- 84 mph
INF Velocity - 77 mph

1/15/18

6-foot, 170-pound, average athletic frame. The hands and wrists have strength, a well proportioned athlete, still has room for future development. One of the better players at this event, performed well on both sides of the field. Defensively, has above average actions, can play all three infield spots, probably best suited for third or second base. The prep steps and footwork leading into the fielding of the baseball are clean and crisp, gets around the ball and gets his momentum towards his target. Works low to the ground, and fields the baseball out front. The transfer is quick, has no wasted movement, gets the baseball into throwing position quickly. The arm works out of a high ¾ slot, clocked at 79 mph, showed to have plenty of carry and flight across the diamond. At the plate, shows an above average approach for his age, the stance is simple and balanced throughout. The hands start just below the shoulders at letter height, feet slightly wider than shoulder width, feet are inline. The lower half is under control, simple direct short stride, hands stay back. The hip rotation is good, bat path is flat through the zone, with lift at the end, creating backspin to the baseball.  Drove the baseball consistently from gap to gap, barreling one baseball after another. The tee exit velocity is advanced at 85 mph. The sixty-yard dash was clocked at 7.50. Good looking prospect, get out and see him this spring.

Tee Exit Velocity: 85 mph
Arm Velocity: 79 mph
Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.50

7/26/17

6-foot, 150-pound, longer, smooth athletic frame. The neck is long, shoulders are sloped and thin, look for him to add strength and muscle. A right-handed hitting middle infielder who showed extremely well. The swing and setup are advanced for his age, swings the bat with authority. The stance is balanced throughout, feet slightly wider than shoulder width, with the front foot slightly open.  The hands are held at shoulder height, wrists are cocked, with the bat starting in a strong tilted position. The lower half is under control, lead leg has a small leg raise, gains ground with the stride. The swing is smooth, has a down to level to swing path, stays through the baseball, approach is from gap to gap. Look for the power to increase, will have enough juice to eventually beat the outfielders. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 79 mph, ran a 4.88 from home to first, with added strength time should drop. In game swings were very good, collected two hits and made hard contact in other at bat. Defensively, threw an easy 77 mph across the diamond, arm action has whip to it. The catch is soft, moves feet throughout. During game play made a big time play. Big time follow, is athletic enough and the arm should be able to stick on the left side of the infield.

Home-First: 4.88
Exit Velocity: 79 MPH
Arm Velocity: 77 MPH

Future Games
6-foot, 175-pound, long, lean athletic frame. The shoulders are sloped, neck is long, has room to fill out and put weight on. A right-handed hitting infielder, top tool is by far his ability to swing the bat. Shows balanced professional approach at the plate, swing produces one gap drive after another, looks to drive the baseball to all fields. The front foot is down early and on time, swing is level, with some lift at the finish. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 89 mph, pop to the pull side, collected a big triple and added a single in game play. The at bats were tough, works the count and hardly swings and misses. Runs ok, ran a 7.17 sixty, long strider. Defensively, has super soft hands, with an arm at 81 mph from ¾ to slightly lower slot. The footwork is accurate, needs to get off the blocks a tick quicker, should improve over time. Projects more as a power hitting second baseman, arm could be a weapon in turning the double play from right side of bag or has enough arm to stick at the hot corner. Chance to really hit at the next level, doubles machine.

Sixty-Yard: 7.17
Exit Velocity: 89 MPH
Arm Velocity: 81 MPH
