A right-handed hitting catcher, showed well for me. Behind the dish is balanced, setup is quiet. The transfer is short and clean, left foot replaces right foot, no wasted movement. Pop times were 2.0-2.15, throws were on or close to bag. The arm strength was 71, arm is clean with no hesitation. At the plate, the stance is open and wide, the hands are set higher than shoulder height with some movement to them. The path is flat to the ball and has a two-handed finish. The tee exit velocity was 84 and ran a 5.03 down the line. The body is strong, with strength in lower half. Jared comes from one of the better high school programs in the state, has had good coaching so far. Will help someone as a quality catch and throw guy.
