8/5/16-Future Game Report
Committed to Virginia, 6-foot-4, 195-pound long and lengthy athlete, the frame has plenty of room for future development. A left-handed hitter, who has a middle of the field approach to opposite field. The stance is even and slightly shorter, stands tall in the box. The lower half is under control, the hands are held just below shoulder height. The hands get back, bottom hand/forearm gets a little stiff and lags behind, once he learns to loosen, will have above average power to pull side, will be able to get barrel out front. The tee exit velocity was 93 mph, ran a 6.72 60 yard dash, which is probably his best tool at the current moment. In game performance was outstanding, collecting 5 hits in 7 at bats, with a walk. Beat out 2 infield hits, times down the line were 4.22 and 4.31. Defensively, arm was clocked at 84 mph, routes and angles were good in the game, steps through hard and transfer is clean. Big time prospect, projects as a classic rightfielder.

At 6-foot-4, 185 pounds, the body big and long, has lots of room to fill out. At the plate, hits from the left-side, the stance is close together, dives in a little. Does a good job of getting hands back into hitting position, needs to get a bit more rhythm with the load. The swing path is flat and long after, gets through the ball well. Showed plus power to pull side during BP. The tee exit velocity was 88, the ball really comes off his bat. Time down the line was 4.50, had a good kick and ran hard. In the outfield, showed good footwork and took good routes to balls. The arm was 75 on the gun, arm action was a bit stiff, needs to get longer and looser. Sullivan has the body and physical strength to be a big time bat.
