Jonathan Dicicco: RHP/3B, (2028) Shelton, CT. 5-foot-7, 151-pound athletic strong frame. Projectable at the plate, Dicicco was ranked 2nd with an exit velocity of 87 mph. (65.8 mph bat speed average). (20.0 mph hand speed average). Started in an open athletic stance with a handsy load, then used a controlled toe tap stride. Bat speed was above average, used an upward long swing plane and high finish. He created tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Pull side aggressive approach. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 69 mph; has developing feet, sure hands, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a long arm action with a ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 8.3 in the 60-yard dash. Projectable on the mound, using a long loose arm action he showed some arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Stretch only drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Has falling off shoulder with a strong balance point. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 66-69 mph; showed sinking action and arm side command. (Max spin 1531; Avg 1459). His 1/7 curveball (57-62) had glove side control and slurvey action. (Max spin 1343; Avg 1181).
