5-foot-10, 155-pound, thin, lengthy wiry strong athletic frame. The neck is long, shoulders are sloped, has plenty of room for future development. The actions and movements are smooth and all work together. One of the better players at this event and in his class, showed three real good tools, and has feel for the game, ran an easy 6.97 sixty yard dash. A left-handed hitter, the approach is field to field, wants to slap and spray it all over. The stance is balanced throughout, feet are even, shoulder width apart, bat is flat, starting just above his back shoulder. The hands are loose, the swing path is down to level, barrel stays in the zone, keeps hands inside the baseball. Made solid contact in both rounds of batting practice squaring one ball up after another. The lower half could slow down a bit, stride foot is real quick, start early with it and quiet it just a bit. Defensively, showed easy carry and life to his arm, clocked at 84 mph, throws are downhill, on target and gave the catcher something to handle. The approach and route to the baseball for proper, easy clean transfer. Big time prospect, get out and see, will be off the board fairly quick.
