Future Games
6-foot-2, 200-pound, strong, wide, physical athletic frame, already filling out. A right-handed first baseman, at the plater, wider stance, even feet. The hand are loose, tilted setup. The swing is level to up, creating loft and lift, hard contact in batting practice, with a tee exit velocity of 95 mph. The approach is more to pull side, has a chance to have big time power at the next level. Moves well for a bigger kid, ran the sixty-yard dash in 7.19, should be able to play left over time, will bring more value. Defensively, good quick feet off the bag, soft hands on the picks and dirt balls, moves well around the bag. The arm was clocked at 74 mph, shows to have average strength across the diamond. Look for him to be off the board at some point.
