PROCASE 2021

6-foot, 210-pound left-handed hitting catcher. The skill set continues to advance. He ran a 7.49 sixty on the laser at the event. The skill set behind the dish is advanced, he receives softly and the transfer is precise and easy for him. He threw 84 mph down to second base with a pop time of 1.84. The bat has an exit velocity of 97 mph. The setup is wide in base and the front foot glides to the ball as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is flat to slightly uphill at contact. The frame is beginning to fill. There are good days ahead of him.

New England Procase

6-foot, 195-pound,strong, solid athletic frame. Strength throughout, well proportioned. A left-handed hitting catcher, once again showed very well from both sides of the field. Defensively, can really catch, block and throw. The setup is wide, super athletic behind the plate. The arm action is short and clean, throwing from his ear, with easy rhythm and tempo to it. The arm was clocked at 81 mph, with a pop time of 1.90-2.0, all throws were downhill and on the bag. At the plate, even feet, loose and relaxed hands, slight pre-pitch movement. The lower half is under control. The swing path is level to up, barrel has life and whip out front. The approach is gap to gap, creating enough loft to beat the pull side outfielders. Potential to be a draft pick next year.

Tee Exit Velocity: 88 mph

Arm Velocity: 81 mph

Sixty-Yard: 7.35

2/09/19

6-foot 185-pound left-handed hitting catcher. Ran a 7.26 sixty at the event. The skill set behind the dish is advanced, threw 81 mph down to second base. The pop time is 2.01. The transfer is clean, the feet work and its easy for him. The arm path is ideal and he gets rid of it. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 87 mph. The setup is even in base and the bottom half is under control throughout the swing. The hands work freely and the path is slightly uphill.. The bat gets through the ball after contact, I believe he will really hit. Should be a draft in a couple of years.

9/19/18

5-foot-11, 175-pound, strong, physical frame, has strength throughout, hands, wrists and lower half have above average strength for his age. A left-handed hitting catcher, has a big arm, clocked at 82 mph, downhill flight, absolute rocket coming out of his hand. The pop time was a legit 1.90-2.10. The setup behind the dish is wide and even based, right foot replaces left foot in transfer, front side closes down and everything is tracked towards target. The hands are extremely strong on the catch, gets around the baseball, doesn't lose many pitches. At the plate, setup is balanced, feet are slightly wider than shoulder width, front foot starts open. The hands are held at the shoulders, bats starts in a flat position. The swing is short to contact, powerful, path is level through the zone, finishes at the shoulders with two hands. The approach is more middle of the field with good power to pull side, had a tee exit velocity of 87 mph, hard solid round of batting practice. Runs very well for a catcher, clocked at 7.19 in the sixty-yard dash on a slow track. Big time prospect, look for him to go off the board quick, potential to be a pro down the road.

Exit Velocity: 87 MPH

2018 FUTURE GAMES
5-foot-11, 175-pound left-handed hitting catcher. Good looking 2021 catcher. Threw 2.16 down to second base during the workout. The feet work and the path is very simple. The velocity on the throws down to second base is 79 mph, above average at his age. The receiving needs to continue to improve, the low ball gives him problems, working thumb under will help him clean that up. The flexibility is very good and the approach is soft and appropriate. Ran a 7.27 sixty on the laser at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 88 mph. The setup is wide in base, and a relaxed hand start. The path is flat to contact, some length to the swing. The bottom half uses a toe tap as the ball approaches. A great deal to like, he can catch, throw and he swings the bat well from the left-side. Big prospect in New England for the 2021 class.
