7/16/19

5-foot-10, 200-pound right-handed hitting first baseman and outfielder. Ran a 4.64 home to first at the event. The glove and feet are solid around the bag as he handles himself well. Threw 72 mph from deep at first across to third base. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 86 mph. The setup is wide in base, uses a toe tap for timing as the ball approaches. The path is long and flat to contact, shows clean hands. Working on shortening the path will help aid the development of the bat.

2/23/19

5-foot-10, 200-pound, streong, thick, wide athletic frame. Strength throughout, already filling out. A right-handed hitting first baseman, top tool is his ability to swing the bat. At the plate, spread out approach, low hands. The swing is super short and quick to the baseball. Hands stay inside, drives the baseball with authority to both gaps. Finishes it with two hands at shoulder height, had a tee exit velocity of 81 mph. Love the ability to get the barrel to the baseball consistently. Defensively, moves off the bag  well, showed soft hands on the picks, with clean quick drop steps starting the double play. The arm action is shorter, working out of a higher over the top slot. The footwork could lengthen, short strider at times. The arm was clocked at 70 mph. Potential to hit at the next level.

2/25/18

5-foot-8, 200 pound, strong thick athletic frame. The shoulders are rounded, hands have strength to them. A right-handed hitting first baseman, shows to have strength in the swing, tee exit velocity was clocked at 79 mph. The stance is spread out, hands are loose, uses a no stride approach, hands and and weight stay back. The swing is down to level to up, hands, stay inside the baseball, approach is more to the middle of the field. The barrel has life and whip to it out front on contact, it stays in the zone a long time and stays through the baseball. Potential to be a power guy down the road. Ran a 4.27 30 yard-dash, feet look to be quick. Defensively, worked out at first base, quick feet off the bag, feet get inline starting the double play. The hands are soft, fields out front, transfer is quick. The stride needs to long out more, will help with being balanced throughout. The arm action has average length, works out of a higher slot, works freely clocked at 70 mph. The front glove pulls off, could stay on it longer, will help with direction and potential to help with arm velocity.

30 Yard-Dash: 4.27
Tee Exit Velocity: 79 MPH
Arm Velocity: 70 MPH
