Ryan Lavender: 1B/LHP, (2026) Berlin, CT. 6-foot, 185-pound athletic strong build. Above average in the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 88 mph. (59.7 mph bat speed average). (18.4 mph hand speed average). Started in a wide balanced stance with a controlled load, then used a toe tap stride. Has a short upward swing plane, quick bat speed and high finish. He found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Above average in the infield, displayed a velocity of 78 mph; has next level hands, a twitchy exchange, and athletic feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot with a short arm action. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.53. Above average projectable on the mound, showed a ¾ arm angle and a short loose arm action with quick arm speed. Tall-and-fall up-tempo type pitcher who uses easy effort. Tall balance point with even in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 81-83 mph; had sinking action and arm side control with heavy movement. (Max spin 2298; Avg 2024). His changeup (76-77) has arm side command and fading swing and miss action. Had hard late action and glove side down in the zone control on his 11/5 slider (68-70). (Max spin 2084; Avg 2037).
