5-foot-8, 185 pound stocky frame with strength and a large build. At the plate he has wide feet, slightly open stance and a short swing with good carry, flat through the zone, getting through it at the backend. The ball flies off his bat because of his plus strength clocking in at 91 mph for his exit velocity. The approach is more middle to pull, took a solid round of batting practice. In the field, he is a physical defender and does not let the ball get away. His arm is solid from SS flashing 73 mph, but see him being a power hitting 2B at the next level. Simple quick transfer, releasing in one step, with good flow. Off the mound, he shows easy mechanics with low stress on the arm. He showed control and command on his three pitches. His fastball was up to 76 mph with a little cut action. His curveball was sitting 62-65 with a 12/6 break and a change at 70 mph. He’s a guy who who will leave it all on the field.
