3-11-18

5-foot-8, 170-pound, strong, thick athletic frame, is well proportioned, has strength throughout, with the lower half having above average strength. A two way player, off the mound looks to be where his future is. This right-handers delivery is simple, controlled and balanced, stays over the rubber, clean, shorter arm path. The stride is shorter and gets downhill. The fastball was clocked at 77-81 mph, with action to the arm side, lived in the bottom part of the zone with the fastballs. The breaking ball was clocked at 61-63 mph, break was more 11/5, thrown for strikes. The change up showed to have down action, fade and sink to the arm side, clocked at 73-74 mph. Worked quick, pounded the zone, times to the plate from set position were at 1.22. At the plate, hits from the right side, setup is good, balanced, bat is in a tilted position. The lower half is slightly open is under control. The swing gets extension and gets through the baseball. The approach is more middle to pull, creating lift and length to the swing. Showed hard contact in his round of batting practice, with a tee exit velocity of 75 mph. Defensively, fields out front feet move throughout, clean easy transfer. The arm was clocked at 77 mph, its quick and clean.  Good looking arm, ability to spin the breaking ball is advanced, looks to really compete, solid follow.

Tee Exit Velocity: 75 MPH

Arm Velocity: 77 MPH
