9/2/15- Commits to Bethune-Cookman
2/10/15 - Big, soft, old-school pitcher’s body. Fastball was 84 mph but with life and knows how to pitch. Soft curve ball at 68-69 mph with effective shape and threw it for strikes. Pitched in and out and showed poise with all the scouts there to see McKenzie. Not a pro guy, but I liked how he went about his business.
4-3-2018: Anthony Maldonado matched up against Logan Gilbert. He’s a long legged, slender built right-handed pitcher with a quick arm. Throws with effort and kept his 89-91 mph fastball down in the zone. It showed occasional hard two-seam tail. Best pitch was an above average, late diving changeup thrown with good arm speed at 83-84 mph. He pitched seven innings and struck out eight Stetson Hatters. (Seifert)
