10/16/16- Mississippi State recruit. Stands at 6-foot-6, 260 pounds with a big, strong, solid build on an extra large frame. Throws on a downward tilt with a heavy fastball from a 3/4 slot that he kept low in the zone that sat 91-92 mph, touching 94 while also mixing in a 80-82 mph slider that had some depth and movement to it causing multiple swing and misses, along with a 82-83 mph change up that has sinking action to it.
07/25/16- Committed to Mississippi State University.
05/28/16- Kentucky recruit. Bryce is a big, strong 6-foot-6, 250-pound right-handed pitcher and first baseman. Fastball 88-90 mph with a 76-77 mph slider with depth. Pounded the bottom of the zone with his fastball, most with late life.  late life and good depth on the slider. At the plate the right-handed hitter showed serious bat speed and power from the left side.
05/21/16- Kentucky recruit. Currently ranked No. 19 in Florida’s 2017 class, No. 49 overall. Hulking 6-foot-6, 245-pound frame, wide shoulders, powerful lower half, extremely strong for age. Legitimate two-way prospect, reminiscent of a right-handed version of A.J. Reed, a former University of Kentucky standout who earned National Player of the Year honors and was drafted in the second round by the Astros. Like Reed, Hutchinson possesses big power both on the mound and at the plate. On the mound, Hutchinson features a heavy fastball, which sat 89-91 and topped at 92. Two-seamer flashed arm-side sink down in the zone. Showed both a curveball and a slider. Curveball ranged between 75-77, registering a pair of strikeouts with the pitch. Slider had erratic shape, but ranged between 80-84; shows promise of being a swing-and-miss offering with improved feel. Also flashed an 84-85 mph changeup with arm-side sink. Offensively, hits from a balanced, relaxed setup; extremely strong through the ball, natural lift in swing, overall big pull-side power. Registered an event-best 101 mph exit velocity with wood. In game, delivered a pair of hits, including pulling his hands in on an 89 fastball for a single down the third-base line. Also inside-outed a single on another 89-mph fastball. Defensively at first base has excellent hands and nimble footwork around the bag.

3/29/16 - Kentucky commit. 6-foot-6, 240 pound right hander with a tall thick burly strong body. Loose live arm at a ¾ arm slot. Big take away in back. Takes ball out to 1B. Lands slightly across the body. Fast ball was 86-90 mph with some tail action. Curve ball was a downer with depth at 74-76 mph. It was mostly average but flashed plus. Slider was a short tight cutter at 81 -82 mph. Showed some feel for the change up at 77-78 mph but didn’t use it much. Has the makings of a power arm with power stuff. Also has a power bat. Could become a good 2017 draft.
2/26/16 - Kentucky commit. 6-foot-6, 240 pound right hander with a very tall thick durable pitchers body and a young face with raw bone strength. Loose live quick arm at a high ¾ arm slot. Takes ball out slightly past hip and lands in line. Occasionally yanks off line. Ball really jumps out of his hand. Fast ball was 88-90 mph with life in the zone and good downhill tilt when he worked out front. Curve ball was a ¾ breaker that was tight and had depth at 75-78 mph. Solid average ML pitch. Threw 1 slider to end the game that was a short tight cutter at 83 mph that looked like a fast ball coming out of his hand. Huge upside for this very talented young arm. Stuff will continue to get better with velocity. Threw 1 inning and struck out the side. Should be a 2017 draft.
6/14/15- Kentucky commit. 6-foot-6 230 pounds with an extra-large, thick, strong, and tall frame. Loose, over the top arm from 1B. Above average ML arm across the diamond. Good separation for his load and has good leverage in his swing. Transfers his weight well and has above average ML power.
1/10/15 FTB Tryouts - is a 6-foot-5, 245 pounder who is a very tall young kid with a very large frame. Decent actions for such a big guy with enough arm for that position. Showed strength in hands with some quickness. The ball jumps off his bat. Will have big future power. Had a line drive double in the game.
