07/08/17- Committed to Clemson University.

01/21/17- Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 86 in the Florida 2018 class. Stands at 6-foot, 190 pounds with a solid, physical build and strong forearms. At the plate he was balanced in the box with a low hand set and showed gap to gap power during batting practice. Displayed quick hands and made consistent, hard contact as he drove the ball with authority and used all of the plate. In gameplay he laced a ball into the left/center field gap for an easy standup double. During defensive drills he fielded the ball out in front and showed off a strong arm with carry and accuracy on his throws as he topped out at 88 mph from right field. Projected corner outfielder with some power at the plate.

6/27/16-  Uncommitted. 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, has a strong lower half which he uses to stay balanced in his set up and throughout his swing. Ruckdeschel has a level, line drive swing with above average bat speed and a good feel for the barrel. Ruckdeschel consistently had hard contact and should turn into some above average power as he continues to get bigger and stronger.

 

6 feet 165 pounds with a lean, athletic, and projectable body with strength. Very quick hands and good bat speed. Nice swing plane and uses his lower half well. Advanced approach and the ball jumps off his bat.
