5/10/16- FSU recruit. Currently ranked No. 40 in the Florida 2016 class, No. 134 overall. Lean 6-foot, 170-pound frame with athleticism. Over the top arm action with a higher leg kick and slight pause before he delivers the ball. Repeats and finishes well. Fastball sat 87-89 mph with some movement. Threw his curveball very frequently which sat 72-74 mph with sharp action and depth. Change up was 76-78 with some similar fastball arm speed. Competes and shows good poise on the mound with the ability to lock in.
3/21/16- Florida State commit who stands at 5-foot-11, 175 pounds with a lean, athletic, and strong frame. Simple, repeatable delivery and he stays in line and he works fast. Short, over the top arm action that gives him a consistent release point and allows him to pound the zone. Sits 86-89 mph with an above average changeup where he keeps the same arm speed as his fastball and sits at 78 mph. Above average 12/6 curveball that has good depth and sharpness at times at 70-72 mph. Pounds the zone with all three pitches and shows good confidence on the mound.
3/11/16 - Florida St recruit. 5-foot-11, 175 pound lefty with an athletic body on smaller frame. Loose quick arm with some effort in delivery at an over hand arm slot. Rock and fire delivery. Hides ball in back. Land in line. Has some downhill tilt for a smaller guy. Fast ball was 88-91 mph and he held his velocity the entire game. Curve ball was a big breaking downer with depth at 72-74 mph. It was occasionally a plus pitch. He could back door it and bury it into a right handed hitter. Change up flashed average with good arm speed and same fast ball action at 78-81 mph. Seemed to smell victory as he got better as the game went on. Competed very well. Finished with 6 1/3 inn, 1 run, 6 hits, 9 Ks, 2 BB.
10/28/15 - Florida St commit. 5-foot-11, 180 pound lefty with a stocky strong body on a medium sized frame. Quick arm with some effort at an overhand arm slot. Deep in back with a “rock and fire” delivery. Fastball has some tilt for his size. Curveball is a downer with depth at 73-75 mph. It’s an above average pitch. Changeup was 78-80 mph. More of BP fastball. Threw a lot of strikes. Curveball is a swing and miss pitch to left handed hitters. Bulldog competitor. Will be a good college arm.
4/10/15 - Medium frame body with an over hand slot. Deep in back and hides ball. High front side. Has a quick arm with some effort but holds velocity. Fast ball was 86-89 mph with some tail action. Curve ball was 70-73 mph and is a downer with some depth. Solid avg ML pitch. Can bury it in and back oor it to right handed hitters. Change up was 79-80 mph with same action as fast ball. Future ML avg pitch. Occasionally hurried out of stretch but only gave up 2 hits with 12 K's in a complete game shutout. Great competitor.

6-29-2018: Got the starting call for the CNT against Chinese Taipei and did not disappoint. Allowed no runs and no hits in his two innings of work. He’s a finesse 5-foot-11, 190 pound lefty who lands well open and mixes three pitches for strikes. Kept his 87-90 mph fastball down in the zone and worked both sides of the plate. Showed tailing life to his armside and sink when down. His above average change-up at 79-80 mph is his best off speed pitch. Steadiness and consistency are two of Parrish’s many strengths. He was very similar to Week Eight of the college season, however his curveball did show less arc and more velocity sitting between 75-78 mph for the CNT, as opposed to 71-74 mph earlier this spring against Georgia Tech. He reminds me of Kacey Murphy, a recently drafted 11th round lefty from Arkansas, except Murphy is more FB/SL and Parrish FB/CH. Expect Parrish to be considered in the same area for the 2019 draft.  (Seifert)

4-10-2018: Another sophomore lefty, Drew Parrish, started Saturday’s game, pitched six innings and struck out four. He showed an 86-90 mph tailing fastball, 71-74 mph curveball and a 77-78 mph changeup. (Seifert)
