4/19/16- Committed to University of North Florida.
3/11/16- 6-foot-4, 190-pounder with a lean muscle, live, athletic build. Threw out of the high ¾ arm slot and swings his front leg back before he finishes on his delivery. Can fall off the side at times, more consistency with pitches in the zone when he lands on line. Competes and attacks hitters. Fastball sat 85-87 mph with arm side run and mixed in a 70-71 mph curveball that tailed away from right handed batters with a 3/4 break. Fields the ball off the mound well. Also displayed a quick, compact swing from the left hand side at the plate and showed the ability to make solid contact. Runs the bases well, aggressive on the base paths. Plays with a lot of energy. Also a star QB on his high school team.
2/4/15 - Uncommited Junior. 6-foot-3, 185 pound right hander with a tall lean loose athletic projectable body with a young face. On the mound he had a loose easy working arm at a H3/4 slot. Delivery was in line and fluid. Gets over the front side fairly consistently and repeats his delivery. Throwing a lot of strikes. In his wind-up he has a high leg kick and turns in slightly but keeps his head on the target. FB has good down tilt at 83-86 MPH. CV was 68-70 MPH with an 11/5 break. It shows a little more depth the harder he throws it. He also has a good feel for his changeup at 76-77 MPH. Throws it with good arm speed and has some fade to it. Will be a future avg ML pitch. High ceiling athletic kid. More velocity will come. Competed very well. Against IMG he went four innings (three scoreless) and gave up three runs to a very deep lineup. Also is a highly recruited QB in football.

1/17/15 Florida Preseason ID Showcase - Tall, lean loose athletic projectable body. H¾ arm slot with a no wind up delivery. Loose arm and fairly easy delivery. His fastball was in the 84-86 mph range and had some arm side run. Most were around the plate. Short, slurvy curveball, 69-71 mph. Showed feel for sinking change at 76-77 mph with good arm speed. Good overall size and athleticism. Has a lot of upside. Stuff will improve with velocity. One of the better pitchers at the workout. Hasnât played a lot of baseball because he is a two sport guy that is being heavily recruited as a QB in football. Wants to play both spots at the college level and from the baseball side, will have no problem.
