Abbott looks to be an intriguing 2 way guy. He bats from the left side and produces great bat speed. Has an up the middle approach and showed above average power to the opposite field. On the mound he throws from a high ¾ arm slot and generates a down hill plane with a 73-76 mph fastball that he got large amount of swing and misses on. Abbott also showed feel for 63 mph 12/6 shaped curveball with tight spin. There is more velocity to come from this young prospect and should be followed closely.
