5/10/16- Miami recruit. Currently ranked No. 54 in the Florida 2016 class, No. 183 overall. Strong, solid 6-foot-2, 205-pound frame. Quick arm out of the low ¾ arm slot and leans back a little with his front leg before he delivers. Most of the time lands on line, can occasionally fall off to the side. Fastball sat 90-92 mph with life, touched 93. Fastball velocity drop 3-4 mph when he went form the stretch. Curveball sat 73-75 mph with a ¾ break. Change up was 78-79 with some sinking action. At the plate Studstill shows good bat speed with the ability to drive the ball with authority with some present power. One hopped the fence on a deep double into the left-center field gap.

3/21/16- Miami commit who stands at 6-foot-2, 205 pounds with a physical, strong, and athletic body. Offensively, he shows great bat speed and raw power. He has good rhythm at the plate and gets a nice separation for his load and leg kick for his stride. He does not get cheated and the ball really jumps off his bat. Plus arm strength across the diamond and is up to 92 mph off the mound.

3/11/16 - Miami recruit. 6-foot-2, 205 pound right hander with a stocky strong body. Loose quick arm with a fluid delivery at a ¾ arm slot. Short in back. A bit of a low elbow at release causing a lack of plane. Fast ball has late run and sink at 89-93 mph. Occasionally over throws and yanks ball off line. Aggressive and attacks strike zone. Curve ball was a tight ¾ breaker and was solid average at 77-82 mph. I’m not sure if he was trying to throw a curve ball and a slider because of the fluctuation in velocity, but they looked like the same pitch. Closed the door in the last inning for the save. 2/3 inn, 1 unearned run, BB, K.

2/17/16 - Miami recruit. 6-foot-2, 205 pound right hander with a stocky strong body. Loose quick arm at a high 3/4 arm slot. Deep in back. Arm action goes long to short in back.Rock and fire type delivery. Some effort. Lands in line but occasionally pulls off line. Fastball is 87-92 mph with late life down in the zone. Curve ball is a 3/4 breaker that flashes ML average at 73-78 mph. Mixed a few change ups in late with same fast ball life. Slowed down a bit to throw it.
