Positional Profile: SS/RHP - Uncommitted
Body: 5-foot-8, 135-pounds. Smaller frame, lean, with some athleticism
Defense: Works under control with rhythm, hands and feet work soundly.
Arm: RH. INF - 81 mph. Some carry, athletic, below average arm strength.
Hit: RHH. Slightly wider than shoulder width setup with heel lift load. Short, compact, level and direct to ball line drive swing.
Power: 85 mph exit velocity.
Run: 7.62 runner in the 60.
Small frame but does a lot of things well on the field. Has above average hands in the infield and good hand-eye coordination. Movements are athletic and controlled. Arm strength has improved every time we see him, with much more to come. Swing is balanced with leverage in lower half, just lacks strength. When he matures and grows, has a chance to be an above average hitter and defender in the D2 or mid-major D1 range.
Immature physically, but only a rising sophomore. Plus feel at a young age and above average, smooth actions on offense and defense. Defensively, the hands work naturally and the arm is very projectable and accurate, already showing the ability to make a strong throw from deep SS. Has a really solid and balanced approach offensively. Just can’t impact the ball quite yet physically. Swing is smooth and he knows how to use his lower half effectively. Moves athletically. Adding strength will do a ton for his game, and when that happens, he could be a really solid player.
